Product description

Anatomical model of human skin
The anatomical model offers a highly magnified view of the human skin and its multiple structures. As it reproduces accurately each element, it promotes a review and analysis of great accuracy. Perfect for hospitals, medical consultation offices, schools and universities, it allows to discover the skin from two different angles: sectional and top view. The side view or in cross section, shows the superposition of different layers of skin. These are removable, it is possible to remove them in turn to examine the surface. Thus, the anatomical model offers many possibilities of visualization.

This anatomical 3D model has three layers of skin: the epidermis, dermis and hypodermis. As these are reproduced in detail, it is possible to scrutinize their composition. The magnified view offered by the model shows both the structure of each layer of skin and systems on them, for example the components of a hair or sebaceous gland. In the cabinets of medical consultation, this anatomical model can be used to clearly explain the essential functions of the skin, or dysfunctions and pathologies that can affect it. Students in dermatology may in turn be used to observe the skin structure, its various components, their functions and the corporate relationship between them.
